Courtney Wall Kerce is originally from Mayodan, North Carolina. She was salutatorian of her high school class at Dalton L. McMichael in 2001. Courtney attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she excelled academically and was consistently on the Dean’s list. While at UNC, Courtney was member of Zeta Tau Alpha and Phi Alpha Delta. She graduated from UNC in 2005 and received a B.A. in Political Science and Communication Studies.

Courtney attended the Charleston School of Law and graduated in August 2008. She was on the Dean’s list and served as Secretary for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. During law school, Courtney gained legal experience while serving as an Extern for the Honorable Jack A. Landis and a Law Clerk at Bluestein & Douglas, LLC.

She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in May 2009. Courtney is currently a member of South Carolina Women Lawyers Association, Charleston County Bar Association, and the Charleston County Family Law Section. She currently resides with her husband in Mt. Pleasant and attends Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church.
