Guy Vitetta is one of the most experienced criminal defense lawyers in South Carolina. During his nine-year’s service as a Public Defender in Charleston County, Guy gained intensive training for and experience in representing clients in General Sessions Court, South Carolina’s main criminal trial court. As a public defender, his caseload averaged 250 cases. He took over 80 cases to trial. He took six cases involving murder charges to trial. Other cases involved allegations of sexual assault, armed robbery, and various drug and property crimes.

In private practice in Charleston since September of 2002, attorney Guy Vitetta represents clients charged with most types of offenses (see below). His criminal law practice is active at all levels of government including Federal Court.
